Hartford Central School District Announces Class of 2026 Valedictorian and Salutatorian

Hartford Central School is proud to announce the Valedictorian and Salutatorian for the Class of 2026.
Abigail Barker, daughter of Stephanie Barker, has been named Valedictorian. Abigail is a member of the National Honor Society and has been actively involved in Key Club, Language Club, Science Club, and Chess Club. Beyond school, she has dedicated her time to organizations including Argyle EMS, TRIO Upward Bound, 4-H, the Vermont Horseman’s Association, and the Interscholastic Equestrian Association. Abigail plans to attend SUNY Adirondack, where she will major in Individual Studies.
Miriam Honey Evans, daughter of Kristen and Lance Evans, has been named Salutatorian. Miriam is a member of the National Honor Society and has been actively involved in FFA, serving as FFA President, as well as Class of 2026 President and National Honor Society President. She has also served as a student mentor and contributed to the Prom Committee. Outside of school, Miriam has been a member of Pony Club for over ten years and is a working student at Kulak Equestrian. She plans to attend Randolph-Macon College, where she will major in Political Science with a pre-law track and compete on the college’s varsity equestrian team.
Hartford Central School congratulates Abigail and Miriam on their achievements and wishes them continued success in their future academic and professional pursuits.
Graduation for the Class of 2026 will take place at Hartford Central School on Friday, June 26, 2026.
