The Hartford Central School District Board of Education plans to appoint Mrs. Danielle Kuba as the next Middle/High School Principal at its regular meeting on Monday, March 9, with the appointment effective June 1. Mrs. Kuba currently serves as a Special Education Consultant Teacher in the Hudson Falls Central School District, where she has also served as an Assistant High School Principal.
“The district received a number of applications, and a committee of various stakeholders interviewed three highly qualified candidates. Through this process, Mrs. Kuba clearly emerged as a strong candidate whose personality, skill set, and passion for education will help ensure that each student has the best educational experience possible,” said Superintendent Andrew Cook. “Mrs. Kuba’s experience as both a teacher and an Assistant Principal provides a seamless pathway to the Middle/High School Principal position, and we are excited to welcome her to our staff in June.”
"I am so excited and honored to be joining the Hartford School District as the new Secondary Principal. The professionalism and warm reception I have already experienced from the school community have been exceptional. I look forward to meeting and working with the students, staff, and families of the district. I am grateful for the trust of the Superintendent and the Board of Education as I step into this leadership role, and I will approach this position with openness, integrity, and a commitment to learning from those around me,” said Mrs. Kuba.
To support a smooth and thoughtful transition, Mrs. Kuba will work alongside Interim Principal Mr. Duell during the month of June. This overlap will help ensure consistency and stability within the Middle/High School while allowing for collaboration and continuity in leadership.
